Yukiguni Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

SEVEN DOT, LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the iOS application "Yukiguni" ("the App") handles.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any information that personally identifies you, such as your name, email address, or location. The App has no account registration or login.

Your game progress is stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers or to any third party (see Section 2, "Information Stored On Your Device"). However, to improve the App, we collect anonymous usage data that is not linked to you personally (see Section 5, "Sharing With Third Parties," for details).

The App includes the RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) SDK to manage in-app purchases and analyze sales; purchase transaction information, an anonymous app user ID randomly generated by the SDK, the PostHog anonymous ID, and an Apple Search Ads attribution token are sent to RevenueCat (see Section 5, "Sharing With Third Parties," for details). The App also includes the PostHog (PostHog, Inc., EU region) SDK to understand how the App is used (see Section 5, "Sharing With Third Parties," for details). In addition, the App includes the Meta Platforms, Inc. SDK to measure the effectiveness of the ads we run (see Section 4, "Advertising and Tracking," for details).

In addition, to show announcements and update notices, the App retrieves announcements and the latest version information from our server (Firebase, by Google LLC) at launch and at similar times. No information that identifies your device is sent for this. Only if you allow push notifications, a notification token and related information are stored on our server to deliver notifications (see Section 3, "Access to Device Features," for details).

2. Information Stored On Your Device

The App stores the following information only inside your iPhone / iPad (in the App's own storage area). None of this data is sent to our servers or to any third party.

Because game progress exists only on your device, the App has no feature to transfer your progress to another device.

3. Access to Device Features

The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, photos, contacts, or any other device feature or personal data.

However, the App asks once, through App Tracking Transparency (ATT), for permission to use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) (see Section 4, "Advertising and Tracking," for details).

After you finish the tutorial, the App also asks on an in-app screen whether you would like to receive push notifications so that we can tell you about announcements such as the start of an event (if the ATT dialog was shown during the same session, the App asks on your next launch instead; if you choose "Not now," the App asks again at a launch at least 7 days later). The iOS notification permission dialog is shown only if you tap "Turn on" on this screen. You can use every feature of the App even if you do not allow notifications.

Only if you allow notifications, the App sends the following information to our server (Cloud Firestore on Firebase, by Google LLC) and stores it there to deliver notifications. If you do not allow notifications, this information is not collected.

We use this information only to deliver push notifications about announcements and to count how many devices will receive them. It is not linked to your name, email address, Advertising Identifier (IDFA), or game progress, and it is not used for advertising or tracking. When the App registers, your IP address is used temporarily to limit repeated registrations in a short time, but it is not stored in our database. You can turn notifications off at any time from "Notification settings" in the App's menu (which opens the App's page in your device's Settings app) or in your device's Settings app (Notifications > Yukiguni).

4. Advertising and Tracking

The App shows no ads.

The App bundles the Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta") SDK to measure the effectiveness of, and optimize the delivery of, the ads for the App that we run on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). The following information is sent to Meta:

The App asks once, via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) dialog, for permission to use the IDFA, right after the launch screen on your first launch. The Meta SDK starts working only after you respond to this dialog. If you do not allow it, the IDFA is not collected, and neither the IDFA nor purchase information is sent to Meta; in that case, installs that come from ads are still counted through Apple's SKAdNetwork or similar means, in a way that does not identify you or your device. If you allow it, the information above, including the IDFA and purchase information, is used by Meta to measure the effectiveness of our ads and optimize their delivery. You can change this setting at any time in your device's Settings app (Privacy & Security > Tracking).

No personally identifying information (such as your name or email address) and no game progress data are sent to Meta. See Meta's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.

5. Sharing With Third Parties

We never sell your information. Except for the service providers (subprocessors) and advertising partner described below, we do not share or otherwise disclose your information to third parties.

The App bundles the RevenueCat, Inc. ("RevenueCat") SDK to manage in-app purchase status and for sales analytics. Only purchase transaction information, an anonymous app user ID randomly generated by the SDK, the PostHog anonymous ID (described below) so that we can reconcile sales with usage statistics, and an Apple attribution token (AdServices) used to determine whether the install came from an Apple Search Ads ad (this does not require ATT permission and does not identify you or your device) are sent to RevenueCat; no personally identifying information (such as your name or email address) and no game progress data are sent. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

The App bundles the PostHog, Inc. ("PostHog") SDK to help us improve the App. Anonymous usage data about in-app actions, such as opening screens, building courses and lifts, unlocking maps, using the shop, and completing purchases (including the product ID and Apple transaction ID), is sent to PostHog along with basic information such as your device model, OS version, and app version. This data is associated only with an anonymous ID randomly generated by the SDK; it is not linked to any personally identifying information (such as your name or email address). This anonymous ID is also sent to RevenueCat for sales analysis (see above). We use the data to improve the App and to check the effectiveness of our ads (by reconciling it with sales figures); PostHog does not provide it to advertising companies. The data is processed on PostHog's servers in the EU region. See PostHog's privacy policy at https://posthog.com/privacy.

The App bundles the Meta SDK to measure the effectiveness of our ads and optimize their delivery. Only app events such as launches, basic device information, and, only if you allow it through ATT, the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and purchase information (product ID, price, currency, and Apple transaction ID) are sent to Meta (see Section 4, "Advertising and Tracking," for details). See Meta's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.

The App bundles a library from Expo (650 Industries, Inc.; "Expo") to deliver push notifications. Only if you allow notifications, the device notification token issued by Apple (APNs device token) and an installation ID randomly generated by the App are sent to Expo so that it can issue the notification token. The notifications we send are delivered to your device through Expo and the Apple Push Notification service. See Expo's privacy policy at https://expo.dev/privacy.

We use Firebase by Google LLC (Cloud Functions and Cloud Firestore) to deliver announcements and update information and to store the notification token and related information. See Firebase's privacy information at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Other than as described above, the App does not bundle any third-party crash-reporting or other framework that transmits data externally.

6. In-App Purchases (StoreKit)

The App offers the following items as in-app purchases. All purchases and billing are processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit.

Non-consumable items can be restored with the same Apple ID via "Restore Purchases" in the App. For the Starter Pack, only the exclusive outfit is restored; the bundled Time Warp, boost and build slot take effect once at the time of purchase. Consumable items take effect at the time of purchase and cannot be restored.

All purchase processing is handled entirely by Apple's App Store / StoreKit. We never receive or store payment information (such as credit card numbers).

7. Deleting Your Data

To remove the game progress stored on your device:

The information stored on our server for push notifications is deleted from our server automatically once, after you delete the App from your device, a notification we send is confirmed to be undeliverable. To stop receiving notifications, turn them off in your device's Settings app (Notifications > Yukiguni).

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the App's features change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

10. The App's Website

The App's introduction website (the "Site") uses PostHog (PostHog, Inc., EU region) to understand how the Site is viewed and to improve it. The Site sends PostHog only page views and page exits (including how far the page was scrolled), clicks on App Store links, the display language, and basic information such as browser type, screen size, and referring URL. PostHog measurement does not use cookies or browser local storage; it uses a temporary ID that is valid only while the page is open. IP addresses are anonymized by PostHog and are not stored. We do not collect personally identifying information such as your name or email address, and the data is not used for tracking or advertising.

The Site also uses Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to understand how the Site is accessed. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous information such as page views and browser type. The data is managed under Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We do not use Google signals or ad personalization. You can opt out by disabling cookies in your browser or by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
